In an era when data is being produced at unprecedented speed and in many different formats, data interoperability is key to sharing and archiving data. In this 1-h course, you will learn why file format is essential to interoperability, the criteria that file formats must fulfill to be interoperable, common interoperable file formats and how to convert a file to an interoperable format.

Online course - NGS - Quality Control, Alignment, Visualisation

In this module, we will introduce the most used sequencing technologies and explain their concepts. Using different datasets, we will practice quality control, alignment of reads to a reference genome and visualize the output. This course is intended for life scientists who are already dealing with NGS data and would like to be able to start analysing them.

Course at Milano, Italy: Metabolomics Approaches for ‘One Health’

Since this will be new for many researchers, ELIXIR Estonia will do a data management writing course. During the workshop, we will discuss the different aspects of the DMP and give more practical advice. There will be 3-4 30-minute writing sessions where you can write your DMP. Also, if you have any questions, the organiser will help you as best as they can.
